V-model - classic or agile
The project procedure according to the V-model is used wherever special requirements are made with regard to verification obligations; for example, as stipulated by GAMP5 for pharmaceutical companies. The requirements described in the specifications by the customer or selection consultant are analyzed in joint workshops and converted into a target concept/ specification. This is the basis for realization. A process-accompanying risk analysis defines the necessary scope and depth for quality assurance. As an extension to the phase-oriented approach, GUS has effectively combined agile elements with the classic V-model.
Agile Project Implementation Methodology
An agile approach is suitable for companies that would like to be actively involved in the implementation and also receive quick and "tangible" feedback on their requirements. In this process, product functionality is delivered on a regular basis (based on SCRUM) and evaluated in a joint review. This approach proves its worth wherever new, future-oriented business processes are planned and implemented that cannot yet be described 100% in advance.
QuickStart
For the fast and standard-oriented introduction at generally smaller medium-sized companies, we proceed according to the QuickStart method, which is aimed in particular at conserving resources at our customers. The first step is a brief on-site survey of the processes and logistical structure. The ERP system is then installed and configured. After a joint test, familiarization with the software takes place.
