GUS-OS Suite named "ERP system of the year"

GUS Group is the winner in the "Pharma" category.

The GUS-OS Suite has been named "ERP System of the Year" by the Center for Enterprise (CER) at the University of Potsdam. The GUS Group, the provider of the award-winning ERP solution, received the award in the "Pharma" category. Decisive factors included the GUS Group's modern project implementation methods and the support that the ERP system offers its user companies during the digital transformation. At the award ceremony in the Squaire at Frankfurt Airport, ntv presenter Katja Dofel and jury chairman Prof. Dr.-Ing. Norbert Gronau hosted the festive gala.

The GUS Group convinced the jury, among other things, because it has proven expertise and almost 40 years of project experience in the validated environment of the pharmaceutical industry. It also offers a novelty in the validated environment of the pharmaceutical industry with its project implementation methods by using so-called "agile" project methods on request.

The jury also focused on the current digital transformation in companies: Here, for example, the GUS Group's GUS-OS Digital Hub provides functions that support digitalization. These include, for example, connecting the ERP solution with external systems, secure data exchange and controlling processes while on the move. Last but not least, the GUS Group was able to demonstrate the great benefits of its solution by presenting several customer application scenarios.

The award for Pharma ERP System of the Year underlines the significant successes we have recently achieved in this market. Since 2017, we have acquired 14 new customers in the pharmaceutical sector, carried out eleven validated go-lives and successfully completed 14 supplier audits.

Version 6.1 of the GUS-OS Suite, which has received the CER award, is an ERP industry solution tailored to the process industry and based on state-of-the-art web technology such as Java, HTML5 and JavaScript. It is focused on the specific workflows of user companies and therefore ensures maximum process quality and reliability. New and individual workflows can be easily integrated and digitized, and the software remains fully updatable even with individual extensions to the system. When it comes to deploying the GUS-OS Suite, customers can choose whether they want to obtain it from the cloud, operate it in-house or prefer a hybrid solution.
