Integration of Microsoft 365 into the GUS-OS Suite

The integration of Microsoft 365 functionalities into the GUS-OS Suite has become an essential part of an efficient way of working, especially when business processes cross system boundaries. A new feature bit is now available to all GUS-OS Suite customers, with which the various Microsoft 365 functionalities can be integrated into the GUS-OS Suite interfaces and processes.

Focal points at a glance:

  • Presentation of the individual functionalities of this integration:
  • Teams: Teams notifications from the alert system, linking of workflows, linking of business objects
  • Sharepoint: Connection of MS Sharepoint via the OSDMS Connector, i.e. storage of documents in Sharepoint instead of in the archive.
  • Email inbound: Redesign of email inbound functionality based on M365, linking of emails to business objects including direct display of emails in the browser
  • User-related e-mail dispatch from the GUS-OS Suite when using MS 365: The messages sent are sent directly by the logged-in administrator and simultaneously logged in their outbox.
  • Automatic and manual addition of e-mail attachments, as well as the use of templates managed in GUS-OS with placeholders. This function is available in every interactive control center that allows e-mail dispatch.
  • Connection to the Microsoft Graph API: can be used as a project accelerator for project-specific use cases, as the central issue of authentication is resolved and individual use cases can therefore be implemented quickly.
