Finance & Accounting

GUS-OS Finance is a process-oriented solution for accounting, which is oriented towards the typical business processes of companies in the process industry, of various sizes and legal forms. It includes the task areas of financial accounting, asset accounting and cost accounting and can be extended with functions such as GUS-OS Costing, business analysis (analytics and KPI) as part of the GUS-OS Suite. Through integration with the ERP system, operational data is also available in the accounting system. GUS-OS Finance is audited according to IDW 808.

Financial accounting

With the financial accounting of the GUS OS Suite, you can quickly and easily map almost all classic requirements of an accounting software. With high process efficiency and easy scalability, the solution is suitable for medium-sized businesses as well as corporations with multi-client structures.

Asset Accounting

With Asset Accounting, you manage your fixed assets (including property, plant and equipment, assets under construction and intangible assets) according to current legal regulations in different accounting types (e.g. HGB, tax law, IFRS, etc.). Asset management is integrated into both financial accounting and cost accounting. Templates can be used to define proposals for, among other things, depreciation method, duration and percentage, so that recurring identical entries for groups of assets are no longer necessary. A wide range of reporting options, such as the asset history sheet and the inventory list, round off asset accounting.

Investment planning

The GUS-OS Investment Planning module is used for controlling investment projects. Investment projects can be structured in individual investment objects in order to monitor individual phases of a project. In addition to plan budgets, actual transactions are of course also settled against the investment projects. Investment planning is integrated with purchasing, so that the investment object can already be assigned during the purchase requisition, the purchase order process itself, or at the latest with invoice document entry. Within the process chain, the document information is inherited by the target processes. A budget check in purchasing provides early warning of budget overruns. 

Cost accounting

The cost accounting is supplied with the cost accounting relevant data by posting the actual costs from the financial accounting. In addition to actual cost accounting, functionalities are available for planning and budgeting cost accounting objects. Cost accounting objects can be cost centers, cost objects, a project or other freely definable characteristics. In addition to standard evaluations, any reports can be generated via the report generator.

Liquidity planning

The liquidity planning offers the possibility to plan the short- and long-term, the one-time and recurring cash inflows and outflows, on time. Together with the bank balances, the credit line, receivables and payables, a preview can be created, which makes the future liquidity development evaluable in a monthly, weekly or daily representation. The module links all customer orders, purchase orders and forecast data with the data from financial accounting, including planned figures, incoming payments and liabilities, and virtually merges these values. The result is a comprehensive liquidity plan as a forecast for future developments. 

Multi-balancing

With multi-balancing, up to four other valuation types, such as tax law, IFRS, US-GAAP, can be managed in parallel in financial accounting in addition to the standard valuation. This function is particularly suitable for companies that have to report to the group separately than for themselves, e.g. according to IFRS to group parent at the same time, however, to a bank e.g. according to applicable commercial law.

Contract management

With the contract management, contracts can be digitally managed and filed. In the case of credit-side contract types, vehicle insurance, vehicle leasing, rental contracts, machine leasing, insurance and maintenance contracts, among others, can be mapped as master data. Contracts can be uploaded comfortably at the master record. In addition, the module provides you with a loan contract management, in which all movements of the contract can be displayed in addition to the repayment schedule.

Collection

The collection system is used for the automatic exchange of data and the processing of collection cases with collection agencies and lawyers. Based on the dunning system, the collection system works on a customer account basis and determines relevant collection accounts on the basis of parameter settings.

Feature Pack 7.0 of the GUS-OS Suite

With Feature Pack 7.0, the latest version of the GUS-OS Suite is now available. Besides additional modules, it offers a multitude of new functions.
